‘Eco-Glamp’ Property Confirms Public Relations Firm as Agency of Record in the United States
New York – March 14, 2018 – ENroute Communications (www.enroutecommunications.com) is proud to announce that it has signed Chile’s Patagonia Camp (http://www.patagoniacamp.com/), adding the upscale camping property to its roster of luxury vacation property clients. The public relations agency has been contracted to represent Patagonia Camp in the United States via its New York headquarters office.
Patagonia Camp is situated in a private reserve of 34,000 hectares. It is an innovative resort project designed and built to offer a unique, intimate and ecologically sensitive nature-based vacation experience under the popular “glamping” — short for “glamorous camping” — concept in one of the world most remote and stunning destinations: Torres del Paine.
Now celebrating its 10th anniversary, Patagonia Camp comprises 20 fully equipped deluxe yurts, or Mongolian-style tents, located on the shores of Lake Toro just nine miles from the gates of Chile’s breathtaking Torres del Paine National Park. The eco-friendly resort is surrounded by local native “coihue” forest and transparent lake and lagoon waters. Indigenous local fauna such as condor and foxes inhabit the scenic landscape near the property, as well.
ENroute Communications’ U.S. campaign for Patagonia Camps will include media relations initiatives such as press release development and distribution, interviews, and press trips and tours. The effort will also include a celebrity influencer component, along with travel industry training and site inspections.
ENroute Communications is headed by Carlos Lopez, who founded the agency five years ago. Under his leadership as agency president, ENroute was named Newcomer Agency of the Year at the public relations-focused North American Excellence Awards. Meanwhile, the agency’s client destinations have also been racking up awards, with Mexico’s San Miguel de Allende named “Best City in the World” by Travel + Leisure in 2017 and Quito, Ecuador recognized as “Destination to Watch” in 2016 by Condé-Nast Traveler and “Best Leading Destination in South America” at the World Travel Awards in 2014.
