Riviera Maya, Mexico — October 10, 2025 — The Mexican state of Nayarit made a remarkable impression at ILTM North America 2025, the continent’s leading luxury travel event, solidifying its position as one of the most attractive destinations on Mexico’s Pacific Coast for the high-end travel segment.
This year, Nayarit showcased five of its most prestigious properties — Casa Koko, Susurros del Corazón (Auberge Resorts Collection), Conrad Punta de Mita, One&Only Mandarina and Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit — representing the finest in world-class hospitality.
Throughout the event, the Nayarit Ministry of Tourism held more than 90 meetings with international travel advisors, tour operators and luxury buyers. The delegation also met with representatives from Capital One, Chase, Classic Vacations, Virtuoso, American Express Travel, First in Service, Beyond Travel, and with 10 of Condé Nast Traveler’s top luxury sellers, further expanding the state’s reach in key source markets.
Discussions centered on Nayarit’s diverse tourism offerings, the growth of its luxury hotel infrastructure, and the launch of new direct flight routes to Riviera Nayarit International Airport (TPQ), which continue to enhance connectivity from major North American gateways. Several destination presentations and future familiarization trips (FAMs) were also confirmed, aimed at strengthening commercial partnerships and destination awareness.
Nayarit’s participation in ILTM is part of the global campaign “Fly to Nayarit, Connect with Mexico,” an initiative designed to boost international arrivals through new air routes that position the state as the gateway to Mexico’s Pacific Coast.
In addition to its world-class hospitality, Nayarit captivated attendees with its cultural and natural richness, highlighted by its nine “Pueblos Mágicos” (Magical Towns) — including Sayulita, Compostela, Jala and Mexcaltitán — its traditional seafood-based cuisine and tropical flavors, and its historic and artistic heritage. The destination also promoted unique experiences such as birdwatching, vineyard tours and cultural festivals, underscoring Nayarit’s identity as a luxury destination that seamlessly blends nature, culture and authenticity.
