Nayarit surprised the Travel Advisors from Global Travel Marketplace 2024

GTM is an elite appointment-only event that connects travel advisors with global travel suppliers, part of Northstar Travel Group Brands.

Fort Lauderdale, FL July 20, 2024.- The state of Nayarit-Mexico participated in the Global Travel Marketplace (GTM), from July 18 to the 20 at Diplomat Beach Resort, Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood, FL. GTM is an elite appointment-only event that connects the most influential travel advisors in North America with global travel suppliers in face-to-face meetings and Boardroom sessions.

This boutique-style event provides a professional platform for the best sellers in the industry, encouraging them to expand their supplier portfolio and grow their global book of business. The travel advisors are top-producing professionals that cultivate their extensive network of hotels, resorts, tour companies, air and cruise lines, that’s why Nayarit were presenting the attractions, hotel inventory, gastronomy, cultural events and all the benefits of selling it to their customers.

During the more than 50 appointments, the travel advisors showed keen interest in becoming Nayarit State Specialists through the Travel Agent Academy program, created with Northstar Travel Group. This program provides a certificate of graduation as a Nayarit Specialist, available at https://bit.ly/NayaritSpecialist.

GTM and GTM West, both events that Nayarit attended, were established to support the evolving business dynamics between travel advisors and suppliers. The event facilitates the development of mutually beneficial relationships in an effective and efficient manner, leading to increased prosperity and new opportunities for all participants.

About Nayarit:

NAYARIT is a state in western Mexico, between the forested mountains of the Sierra Madre Occidental and the Pacific Ocean. More than beaches, there are also mountains, volcanoes, freshwater lagoons, colonial towns and people of ethnic groups: Coras, Huicholes, Tepehuanos and Mexicaneros who allow you to enter and buy their crafts and share their festivities. This area is known as Valle Nayarit.

Riviera Nayarit, for its part, with its 192 miles of coastline, is home to the colonial city of San Blas, whose 16th-century San Basilio fort once protected the area from pirates. Just to the south are the surf-friendly beaches of Matanchén Bay, while to the north is the island of Mexcaltitán, considered the cradle of the Aztec civilization.
