Within the chapter of MPI Bajío Mexicano, which comprises 5 states (Aguascalientes,
Guanajuato, San Luis Potosí, Querétaro, and Zacatecas), the city of Guanajuato will host the
second educational event at the boutique hotel ‘Villa María Cristina’ on Thursday, August 8th. The purpose of this event is to build strong relationships, share ideas, learn new skills, and inspire innovation.
The speakers for this significant event will be Araceli Ramos, Director of Promotion and Public Relations at Casa Cuervo, conducting a tasting session titled ‘Meetings through the Senses,’ and Patrick Tirand, Executive Chef of Hotel Villa María Cristina, discussing ‘The Importance of Food in Incentive Travel.’
The event will take place at two spectacular venues: Mina de Guadalupe and Hotel Villa María Cristina.
Mina de Guadalupe is located in the ‘Valenciana Mining District’ in Guanajuato. Discovered in 1548, it features impressive walls over 30 meters high surrounding the shaft, supported by
buttresses resembling elephant trunks, hence its popular nickname ‘Mina del Elefante.’ It is
currently considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is an ideal location for social and
corporate events.
On the other hand, Hotel Villa María Cristina is a property nestled in the historic city of
Guanajuato. The art of living in a converted old house turned luxury hotel creates an intimate atmosphere. Beautiful Spanish mosaics lead guests to explore the city of Guanajuato, and the hotel is part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World collection.
This event will bring together specialized suppliers and destinations from the chapter. It’s a
scenario where opportunities are not only identified but actively seized, acting as a catalyst for international collaboration and business expansion.
Chapter President Salvador de Anda invites you to participate and be part of this great project
