 Garza Blanca Preserve and Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to host Made in Mexico, a colorful tribute to Mexico’s art, culture and traditions.
New York – August 18, 2015 – Celebrating all things Mexican in the run up to Mexico’s Independence Day, Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa and Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta will be inviting guests to embrace the country’s colorful, warm and vibrant heritage in a series of Mexican-themed activities and menus on offer throughout the entire month of September. A special weeklong concentration of activities will take place from September 11th through Mexico’s Independence Day, celebrated annually on September 16th.

An explosion of cultural flavors to celebrate Mexico’s Independence, the Made in Mexico culinary event will run throughout September, with specialty Mexican dishes on the menu at all the restaurants at both resorts, along with tequila and mezcal tastings. During the week prior to September 16th, the date Mexico commemorates its independence from Spain each year, guests will enjoy an even more intense, tailored program of events designed to celebrate Mexico’s heritage (Reservations required for some events).
From September 11th to September 16th, the resorts will showcase Mexico’s very best in not only culinary arts and mixology, but the nation’s history, culture, fashion, music and art, as well—for a true celebration of Mexican culture that is both educational and lots of fun for visitors from all over the world. Guests can partake in a special dinner with an invited chef, native art exhibitions, historical documentaries, a fashion show and performances by musicians and DJs, all honoring Mexico and Mexican roots. All events are included at no extra cost for all-inclusive guests, while room-only guests need pay only for their consumption at any gourmet activities.
