Nayarit Wraps Up Participation at GTM North America by Northstar Travel Media

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. July 12 — Nayarit concluded its participation in GTM North America, held July 10–12 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The event is a key component of the state’s international tourism promotion strategy.

Throughout the event, Nayarit representatives held 60+ high-impact, one-on-one meetings with top-tier travel advisors from the United States and Canada. These meetings focused on sharing updated information about the destination, including its Magic Towns, new flight routes, improved connectivity, and complementary tourism offerings.

Nayarit promoted newly launched air routes from major U.S. and Canadian cities, further connecting travelers to the state’s diverse attractions. This expanded connectivity enhances access to the Pacific coast state, which continues to grow in popularity among international visitors.

Joining the Nayarit delegation this year was Conrad Punta de Mita, representing the state’s luxury hospitality sector. The hotel provided detailed information on room rates, travel packages, and booking consolidators, helping to solidify business relationships with North American travel agencies.

Nayarit is a destination known for its blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and high-end tourism experiences. With more than 180 miles  of pristine Pacific coastline, the state offers world-renowned beach destinations like Riviera Nayarit, Sayulita, San Pancho, and Punta Mita. Inland, visitors can explore charming Magic Towns such as Jala, Compostela, and Mexcaltitán.

Ecotourism, adventure, gastronomy, whale watching, surfing, luxury resorts, and indigenous cultural experiences are just some of the attractions that make Nayarit a standout destination in Mexico. The state is also emerging as a key player in the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) tourism market, offering modern infrastructure and premium services for business travelers.

These efforts reinforce Nayarit’s image as a premium destination on the international stage, expand its network of strategic partnerships, and generate concrete business opportunities for the tourism sector.
