January 30, 2026, SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE, Mexico— This Valentine’s season, Hotel Matilda once again invites lovers, epicureans and pleasure seekers to the table with the return of its famed Erotic Dinner on Feb. 13 — a decadent evening where desire is plated, poured and artfully savored.
Hosted by Moxi at Hotel Matilda, the sixth edition of this provocative culinary ritual promises a feast designed not just to be eaten, but experienced. Helmed by Spanish chef Jesús Pedraza, founder of Mexico City’s La Cocina del Bizco, the multi-course menu teases texture, temperature and temptation, transforming each bite into an exploration of pleasure.
Expect dishes that whisper, linger and surprise — paired with a carefully curated selection of wines and premium spirits, including the refined expressions of Tequila Casa Dragones. Each sip deepens the mood, adding elegance and intrigue to an already intoxicating evening.
More than dinner, Cena Erótica is a flirtation between gastronomy and art. A site-specific installation sets the stage for a sensory journey where flavors caress, aromas seduce and the atmosphere invites connection. It’s a celebration of indulgence — where culinary craft meets sensual storytelling.
Chef Pedraza brings a rich and adventurous palate to the experience. A native of Granada raised in Madrid, his culinary roots trace back to his family’s tavern before formal training at the prestigious Casino de Madrid and the acclaimed Kabuki restaurant. His career has spanned Spain and Mexico, from opening Ole Lola in Madrid and ventures in Cádiz to establishing La Rua de La Criolla in Polanco. In 2024, he unveiled his latest passion project, La Cocina del Bizco, a castizo-style tavern in Condesa that blends tradition with playful flair.
Set against the contemporary, art-driven backdrop of Hotel Matilda, the Erotic Dinner has become one of San Miguel de Allende’s most anticipated Valentine’s traditions — drawing couples and culinary connoisseurs eager for a night that promises both romance and revelation.
Cena Erótica takes place Feb. 13 and is priced at $2,200 Mexican pesos per person plus tip. Reservations are available via Restaurant@hotelmatilda.com.
Renowned as one of San Miguel de Allende’s leading luxury boutique hotels, Hotel Matilda continues to push boundaries with experiences that blur the lines between gastronomy, art and emotion. The Erotic Dinner is a signature example of the hotel’s commitment to bold, unforgettable moments.
