
NAYARIT, Mexico — ENroute Communications has officially renewed its 2026 public relations and market representation contract with the Ministry of Tourism of the State of Nayarit, continuing a successful partnership that has helped position Nayarit and Riviera Nayarit among the most visible and fastest-growing tourism destinations in Mexico across the United States and Canada.
As part of the renewed agreement, ENroute Communications will continue leading a comprehensive international tourism communications and representation strategy for the state. The agency’s scope of work includes media relations, press release development and distribution, international press trips and familiarization programs, interviews with travel and lifestyle media, destination presentations, and strategic outreach to travel advisors, tour operators, wholesalers, airlines, and industry associations.

ENroute Communications will also continue supporting market representation initiatives across North America, including relationships with consulates and embassies, cooperative marketing campaigns, and strategic partnerships with major professional sports organizations and entertainment platforms designed to increase destination visibility among consumer audiences.

In addition, the agency will continue coordinating travel trade engagement efforts through destination seminars, business-to-business meetings, industry events, and familiarization experiences with travel industry leaders, media representatives, and content creators. Strategic efforts tied to air connectivity development, destination positioning, and integrated tourism marketing campaigns will also remain a key focus.
Over the past three years, ENroute Communications has prioritized expanding the international perception of Nayarit beyond the traditional resort areas of Nuevo Nayarit and Punta Mita, showcasing the state’s broader and increasingly diverse tourism offerings. This has included promoting experiences throughout Nayarit’s coastline, mountain regions, Pueblos Mágicos, Indigenous communities, nature reserves, adventure tourism experiences, cultural attractions, gastronomy, wellness tourism, and luxury experiences connected to the Sierra and jungle regions of the state.
These efforts have contributed to significant international recognition for the destination, culminating in Nayarit being named among the top destinations to visit in 2026 by leading international media outlets, including Condé Nast, The New York Times, Forbes, and Travel + Leisure, among other prominent travel and lifestyle publications across the United States and Canada.
