Under the slogan “Nayarit has it all,” the Government of the State of Nayarit, through its Ministry of Tourism and in collaboration with Sabino MX Producciones, is preparing to host a high-impact sporting experience set against the backdrop of Mexico’s most breathtaking coastal landscapes.

The Festival of the Wind Nayarit 2025 will take place from May 16 to 18 in the iconic Bahía de Banderas. As Latin America’s premier kiteboarding event, it will gather 400 athletes from over 10 countries, delivering a dazzling visual spectacle as vibrant kites fill the sky and sea.

Spectators will witness thrilling competitions across multiple disciplines, including Freestyle, where creativity and skill defy gravity; Downwind, a test of endurance and strategy along the coast; Slalom, a high-speed race through buoys; the breathtaking Big Air, featuring gravity-defying jumps; and the cutting-edge Foil Regatta, where boards appear to hover above the water.
