RIVIERA NAYARIT, Mexico (June 27, 2025) — Nayarit concluded a successful press trip this week with four journalists representing top-tier media outlets, including ELLE Québec, Magazine VÉRO, Le Devoir, Instinct Magazine, Texas Lifestyle Magazine, and San Diego Explorer.

The group experienced a curated itinerary highlighting Nayarit’s cultural, natural and gastronomic attractions. Delta Hotels by Marriott Riviera Nayarit and Nukari Quinta Boutique served as the official host properties.

In San Blas, the group explored La Tovara, La Contaduría, and the town’s pier, with guidance from the local tourism office. The itinerary continued to the town of Jala, where they participated in a traditional callejoneada and were welcomed by the municipal tourism office and the town’s mayor. The journalists also visited the Meseta del Cielo vineyard.

In Ixtlán del Río, the group toured the archaeological site Los Toriles, the Real de Ixtlán tequila distillery, Quinta Ruiz, and the municipal offices, where they were also received by the town’s mayor. Activities at Delta Hotels included a guided nature walk, a ceviche-making class and a site inspection.

This initiative is part of Nayarit’s ongoing strategy to promote the region to international travelers. The participating media outlets will publish coverage aimed at potential travelers from the United States and Canada in the coming months.
