Nayarit, Mexico october 25, 2024. From October 22 to 25, Nayarit’s Ministry of Tourism participated in the annual Ascend event hosted by Apple Leisure Group Vacations. Held at the Cancun Convention Center, the event gathers travel agents from across the United States who attend conferences and networking events. At the marketplace, Nayarit had the opportunity to showcase the destination with a booth, welcoming over 300 agents to provide destination information and present the travel agent training program. Hotel chains from the state, including Marival, Grand Velas, Iberostar, and Villa Group, also participated.

This edition of Ascend is the largest to date, with 1,300 registered attendees, including 767 agents and 149 suppliers. This year also marks the 55th anniversary of Apple Vacations and the 50th anniversaries of Funjet and Travel Impressions.
